Ellie, a typical short-legged dachshund, lives life with great enthusiasm and energy. One day a threatening bug descends on the town where she lives leaving behind a mist of particles that makes the residents ill. Ellie begins to lose her enthusiasm and energy—as well as the two letters e from her name, which represent what she has lost. Dogtor Ella, a Labrador retriever, visits Ellie and helps her realize the steps she can take to recover those parts of herself she thought were lost forever. Will Ellie find a remedy in the dogtor’s wisdom and overcome the illness that has overtaken her? In this fable, a dachshund pieces together her life puzzle and transforms reality under her own design.
